Jump Rope for Heart Campaign December 10th thru December 20th.

Dear Family Members,

The Physical Education Department at De Grazia will take part in the Jump Rope for Heart Campaign sponsored by the American Heart Association. The Jump for Heart campaign will start December 10, and end December 20th. The students and staff will have an opportunity to help raise a few dollars for a great cause. I lost my Father two years ago because of a heart problem and I want to educate our children while they are young so they know how to keep their heart strong and healthy.

The students will spend the next couple of weeks doing jumping rope exercises, learning about their heart, and learning about better eating habits. The last day of PE for each class before the Christmas break they will have workstations set up on the basketball court for them to jump rope and have fun.

I will be handing out pledge forms on Tuesday for the students to participate in the Jump Rope for heart Campaign for the American heart Association. Students who turn in their forms early with their money will be put into a drawing for ropes and other fun prizes.

Sincerely,

Mr. Schutt
